Nicholas Steele
President
The Edwardsville Post 199 Black Sox team wouldn’t be here today if it weren’t for Mr. Steele, who oversees our strategy and advises on the best course of action. Mr. Steele has over 25+ years of Military experience that helps him with training and developing players. Mr. Steele. advises on all facets of baseball training to include strength and conditioning, hitting, and pitching to ensure that all programs being offered are of the highest quality. Nicholas works consistently to create and maintain synergy between all facets of Black Sox training to deliver a complete youth and high school baseball experience. Nicholas works with players at all levels helping to develop the mental side of baseball along with leadership skills that will allow them to be successful at all levels of play. We really couldn’t have wished for a better President of the organization.

Coach Zach "Mo" Modrusic
Head Coach / Lead Infield Instructor
Mo got his Bachelor's from Western Kentucky University, And is currently working towards his Master's in Exercise and Sport Psychology at SIUE. Mo played baseball through out high School for EHS and the STL Pirates.
Coach William Messer
Head Coach / Lead Catching Instructor
William has played baseball for Edwardsville High School for four years, as well as the Edwardsville Senior Legion Post 199 under Coach Ken Schaake for 2 seasons. He also played 2 seasons for the Lewis and Clark Trailblazers. He currently is a legal assistant at The Gori Law Firm in Edwardsville.
Coach John Hubbard
Manger Jr. Legion Team
Coach Hubbard played baseball throughout High School at Metro East Lutheran and the Retro Baseball Club. He got his Bachelor's Degree from SEMO and is now an engineer at SKF USA. He is also a assistant coach for the Metro East Lutheran Knights and Illinois Redbirds.
